After the opening of the Lodge a Eulogy was given for W.Bro. Terry Waite, RAMGR, who passed to the Grand Ark above on Tuesday 17th September 2019. He was a well-respected and dedicated Mason who will be sadly missed.

As this was the Installation meeting the Worshipful Commander, W.Bro. Tony Miller, RAMGR, installed his successor W.Bro. Dennis Weeks, RAMGR as Worshipful Commander. The presentation of the Keystone Jewel was made by W.Bro. Simon Lancaster, ProvRAMGR, followed by The Provincial Grand Master who gave the Address to the Commander. W.Bro. Chris Boorman, RAMGR, gave the "18th Century Charge" followed by a very interesting talk by the Worshipful Commander, W.Bro. Dennis Weeks, RAMGR entitled "Royal Ark Mariner Origins".

A presentation was made to the Immediate Past Commander, W.Bro. Tony Miller, RAMGR, in recognition of his services rendered over the previous year. This
was a cheque for £200 for the education of orphans in Uganda, "St Andrew and Anthony Kampala Orphans Trust".

The Provincial Grand Master congratulated W.Bro. Tony Miller, RAMGR on installing W.Bro. Dennis Weeks, RAMGR in his own inimitable style. He thanked the Lodge for hosting the forthcoming Provincial Meeting in January 2020 at Botley. He followed this by presenting several Brethren with their Mark Benevolent Fund honorifics, thanking the Brethren for their great generosity, and W.Bro. Nigel Wilkinson, RAMGR, for his hard work as Provincial Grand Charity Steward.

A fun evening, enjoyed by all, and well supported by the Provincial team.
