SUMMARY:Mental Health Seminar
DESCRIPTION:There are many events in life which can lead to the development of anguish\, stress and depression. It may occur through a difficult life event like a bereavement or redundancy\, relationship problems\, upsetting or traumatic experiences which may be recent of have occurred some time ago or just a feeling of low self-esteem\, sadness or anger. It is not unusual to have these feelings\, they are common\, and the good thing is that help is always available\, and that help can make a real difference. \nTo get that help\, simply call the MCF helpline on 0800 035 6090 and ask to be put through to the Counselling Careline.  These consultations are usually over the telephone\, but personal appointments can be arranged. \nHaving arranged a very successful seminar on mental health issues at Eastleigh in March\, it has been decided to repeat the exercise on the Isle of Wight. The event will be at Cowes Masonic Centre\, Castle Road\, Cowes on Saturday 29th October 2022\, from 1030 until 1245. Come along and hear the presentations from professionals on the issues that cause mental health problems and coping mechanisms to deal with them. \nTo register for the event just send an e mail to welfare@hantsmasons.org with your name and number attending. This is an event for all so bring your partner or friends.
